mercenary gdkp run fails in first try

Not to be attributed to anyone but myself the run suffered a failure the first go round. 3 things i need to do and then give it another try.

#1 have time to use the gold raid manager addon

#2 have a group that is not on a tight schedule to begin with

#3 not be on a tight schedule myself

We all decided to 21 man the last boss(Anub) and downed him rather quickly. So aside from losing both tanks @ anub the run went smoothly... now if i can only get that damn addon to work...we will try this again after further testing on the gdkp addon.

Thought id throw this pic out here to give yall a laugh. About 2 months ago I decided that 197 pounds was a little bit too much to carry around all the time. The few restrictions I ran into though were I wanted to raid and play the ah so going for a bike ride wouldn't work on most nights. So after a trip to ikea I took my good old exercise bike and made the "Bike desk"... i have lost 27 pounds so far without changing my terrible diet yet, but once I drop a few more pounds it may have to adjust a little.

im still in the process of making the last modifications to the sides where my keyboard and mouse sit but for now the tray tables are doing the trick!

mercenary gdkp= faster toc 25s???

Merecnary gdkps.... this came up the other day so I figured id give a shot at the guys explanation and see the thoughts on this. Used for toc25 a mercenary gdkp is where the loot is grabbed from boss to boss and held hostage till the end of the run. Given the 2hour cooldown on trade availability this could probobly be done. Wing to wing in icc as well... I plan to try this Thursday afternoon on my pally and I'll comment more on it then. My questions or thoughts on this are simple, is there a downside to holding loot? If u do all the big ticket items first will it leave a new reason to buy that small upgrade since u know that your gonna be getting (x)amount of gold already??? Also the speed of the run should make it a more popular option and incline people to stay. Picture that hunter or dk who may afk after deaths choice is auctioned off he will finish the raid if he can't bid till anub dies right? We'll see...

Hello all!! I'm coggi and I figured id give bloggin a try. I have been playin the ah now for about 2 months and managed to make just over 50k in gold. While this is in no way a major feat, the real money figure is probobly closer to100 k since I have an inability to not buy things for my alts on gdkp runs. I'm currently heading to gold cap while I store away mats for cataclysm and figured I would invite u along for the ride as I make money and kill internet dragons and allies along the way.
